The community of South Section is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.
Transportation
Driving is usually the best means of transportation in South Section. It is very convenient to come across a place to park. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very feasible for house buyers in South Section as meeting day-to-day needs is very challenging without a car. The bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in this part of the municipality because the area is not particularly flat, and the cycling infrastructure is quite bad.
Services
There are no high schools and no primary schools in South Section. Additionally, it can be very difficult to travel to daycares from houses for sale in this area. With respect to eating, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in South Section to reach the closest supermarket by walking.
Character
Home buyers who prefer a calm environment will enjoy South Section. South Section is especially quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-situated, resulting in them being very hard to reach from a large number of locations within this community.
