Situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Shape 24 is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in Shape 24. Accessing a parking spot is easy, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway. On the other hand, Shape 24 is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. Traveling by foot is not especially feasible for residents in Shape 24 as few daily errands can be run without the need to use a car. Moving around by bicycle is also challenging in Shape 24 since the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and riding is rendered strenuous by the often hilly topography.

Services

Home buyers in Shape 24 will value that a grocery store is always only a very short distance away. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. Likewise, it is a rather short stroll to a decent selection of clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, in Shape 24, families will typically be able to get to daycares without a car.
