Rutledge is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in this neighbourhood. Parking is quite easy, and many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, Rutledge is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. The bike is a sometimes poor mode of transportation in Rutledge since there are few bike lanes, and riding is rendered arduous by the often steep topography. Walking is also not particularly practical for property owners in Rutledge as few common errands can be run without a car.

Services

It is a reasonably short trip to get to daycares and primary schools from any location in Rutledge. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area.
