The community of Popes Harbour can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this area. It is especially convenient to park. Popes Harbour is not very well-suited for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians because almost no daily errands can be run without the need for a vehicle. The bike is a quite poor mode of transportation in this area since the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

This part of the municipality does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long stroll away. Popes Harbour offers a relaxed environment. Popes Harbour is quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
