The neighbourhood of Nantucket is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is very easy to park, and most houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway. In contrast, the public transit service in Nantucket is not very frequent. Nonetheless, homeowners benefit from around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Nantucket is bicycling-friendly. Walking is not especially practical for house buyers in Nantucket because few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle.
