Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Mushaboom is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in Mushaboom. Finding a place to park is generally easy. Most houses for sale in this community are located in areas that are not very well-suited for pedestrians because almost no common errands can be run without a car. Mushaboom is also not very appropriate for bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is quite bad, and riding is made difficult by the typically steep terrain.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Mushaboom. Likewise, daycares are not plentiful and thus tend to require a very long stroll to get to. With respect to food, it is very rarely an option for house buyers in this area to travel to the closest supermarket on foot.

Character

The character of Mushaboom is exemplified by its calm environment. Mushaboom is especially quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-located, which makes it very hard to get to them. Despite that, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to visit, including Eastern Shore Islands Wilderness Area.
