The community of Moosehead is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Moosehead. Accessing a place to park is quite easy. Moosehead is not very appropriate for bicycling because there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for people who prefer to get around on foot since almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Moosehead. Additionally, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long trip away. In terms of food, it is very rarely feasible for property owners in Moosehead to travel to the closest supermarket as pedestrians.
