Located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Long Lake is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Long Lake. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. Long Lake is not very suitable for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians as many daily needs are almost impossible to meet without a vehicle. This community is also not very bicycling-friendly as there are very few bike lanes, and the terrain is not especially flat.
