Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, East Lawrencetown is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured approach to navigate East Lawrencetown. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. Most homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot since almost no daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. The bicycle is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in East Lawrencetown since there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of hills to challenge cyclists. Thankfully, cycling is more feasible in some areas than others.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Halifax. Moreover, parents may consider it very hard for their children to access daycares as pedestrians.
