This part of Halifax is very car friendly. It is very easy to access a parking spot. It is challenging to move around by bicycle in Brookside since there are a good number of elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for property owners in this part of Halifax as almost no daily needs can be met without a vehicle.
