The neighbourhood of Brightwood can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Brightwood presents house buyers with the choice between different means of transportation. Brightwood has a reasonably good transit system. House owners are served by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. It is also convenient for people travelling by foot to navigate this area; meeting daily needs is easy without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This neighbourhood will appeal to physically active house buyers since it is suitable for cycling. For example, the bicycling infrastructure is good.

Services

Families will find that wherever their house is located in Brightwood, schools and daycares are close by. With regards to eating, it is very easy to get to the nearest supermarket by foot in Brightwood. Furthermore, there is generally a restaurant or cafe in close proximity.

Character
