Transportation

The best approach to move around in Windsor Junction is usually driving. It is very easy to come across a place to park. Commuting by bicycle is difficult in this part of Halifax because there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are also not very suitable for pedestrians because most daily needs are very challenging to carry out without a car.

Services

In all but a few cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. Regarding education, there are only a very small number of high schools in this community and accordingly they can be a very long stroll away. Additionally, Windsor Junction does not have any primary schools. Likewise, it can be very hard to get to daycares on foot.
