Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, College Lake is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in College Lake. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. College Lake is not very amenable to cycling because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of slopes. Nevertheless, some bike-friendly pockets exist. Walking is also not very convenient for residents in College Lake since almost no common errands can be run without needing a car.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in College Lake. Moreover, daycares are not numerous and thus tend to require a very long walk to get to. With respect to food, it is very rarely possible for home buyers in College Lake to access the closest supermarket as pedestrians.
