Part of the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Lake Road is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely good part of Colchester Subdivision B for driving. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. Biking is difficult in this neighbourhood as the cycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a fair number of hills. Lake Road is also not very suitable for pedestrians because almost no day-to-day errands can be run without needing a vehicle.

Services

Lake Road does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, it can be very difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, home buyers in Lake Road almost always have to rely on a car to travel to the nearest grocery store.

Character

Lake Road is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Lake Road is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
