South Bar

The community of South Bar can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in South Bar. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot. A majority of the homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are not very conducive to those who prefer to travel as pedestrians since carrying out daily needs is inconvenient without the use of a vehicle. South Bar is also not very suited for biking because cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Services

South Bar does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, parents may find it very hard for their children to get to daycares on foot. With respect to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy South Bar. It is easy to reach public green spaces in the community and there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in. This area is also reasonably quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
