Glace Bay

The community of Glace Bay is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Glace Bay is car friendly. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very conducive to pedestrians as few daily needs can be carried out without needing a car. This part of the municipality is also not very suited for cycling as the terrain is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

Doing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in Glace Bay. Nevertheless, it is generally a short trip to the closest pharmacy, which can provide some basic food items. Residents of this part of Cape Breton Municipality can enjoy approximately 10 restaurants as well.
