Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, St. Andrews Channel is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the municipality. It is especially convenient to park. This part of Cape Breton Municipality is not very amenable to cycling since the bicycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes. St. Andrews Channel is also not very well-suited for people who prefer to get around by walking because almost no common errands can be run without needing a car.

Services

House buyers in this part of Cape Breton Municipality almost always have to rely on a vehicle to purchase groceries. Concerning education, this area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In addition, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long stroll away.

Character

People who prefer a calm environment will enjoy St. Andrews Channel. Although the community does not contain any parks, green spaces are spread out sporadically in nearby communities, making them very easy to access. This area is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
