The community of Donkin is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Donkin is an extraordinarily good part of Cape Breton Municipality for travelling by car. It is very convenient to park. Cycling is challenging in Donkin as the terrain is not especially flat, and there are very few bike lanes. This area is also not very well-suited for those who travel by walking as running common errands is nearly impossible without a vehicle.

Services
