White Hills Park is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is situated in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in this neighbourhood. The street layout is moderately amenable to cars, and accessing a parking spot is easy. However, White Hills Park is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. White Hills Park is not very appropriate for bicycling since the terrain is not especially flat, and the cycling network is not very well-developed. Many of the houses for sale in this part of St. John's are located in places that are also not very well-suited for pedestrians since running daily errands is impractical without the use of a car.

Services

There are a limited number of opportunities for those who care about restaurants within a short distance. With respect to education, families will find that wherever their home is situated in this part of the city, daycares are nearby. On the other hand, this area does not have any primary schools or high schools.

Character

Housing

White Hills Park experienced its biggest construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available housing is from this time period. Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing a small minority of buildings in this area, while duplexes are also present in the housing stock. Renters occupy about two thirds of the units in White Hills Park and owners occupy the remainder. This area is notable for those looking for three bedroom homes.
