Fort Townshend is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is situated in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very well-suited for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without the need to use a vehicle, and various businesses are close at hand. However, the bike is a somewhat poor method of transportation in Fort Townshend because the terrain is not very flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not particularly well-developed. Driving is a good transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is easy to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are very easy to reach from any location in Fort Townshend. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be challenging in Fort Townshend as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner.

Services
