Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, Mun is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

The bike is a good mode of transportation in Mun as the bicycling infrastructure is comprehensive. Mun will also draw home buyers who value being able to walk everywhere as it is suitable for traveling on foot; running common errands is convenient without the use of a vehicle, and many businesses are rather close by. Mun is particularly car friendly. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to access from anywhere in this part of St. John's. However, getting around by public transit is challenging in this area. Thankfully, there are about 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are commonly very close by.

Services

It is challenging to get to the closest supermarket as a pedestrian from any home in this part of St. John's. Additionally, Mun is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. It is also convenient to access a variety of clothing stores without a car. With regards to education, in this area, parents and their kids will generally be able to get to schools and daycares by walking.

Character

Mun offers an unique mix of areas that are both busy and quiet. Even though the ambience is not the liveliest in this area with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located close by.
