Sand Cove is a neighbourhood within Saint John, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sand Cove is particularly car friendly. Parking is easy, and many houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in Sand Cove due to the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly very close by. Sand Cove is not especially suitable for people who like to get around as pedestrians because few daily needs can be carried out without needing to use a car. Sand Cove is also not very amenable to biking since the cycling network is sometimes poor, and there are quite a few hills.

Services

It is a short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from most properties for sale in Sand Cove. In contrast, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long trip away. With regards to eating, it is very rarely feasible for house buyers in Sand Cove to travel to the closest grocery store without needing a vehicle.
