Transportation

This part of Saint John is very car friendly. Finding a place to park is quite easy, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Forest Hills. On the other hand, the public transit service in Forest Hills is not very frequent. Nevertheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Forest Hills is not especially bike-friendly because there is a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling network is rather limited. Many of the houses for sale in this part of Saint John are located in places that are also not very suitable for those who prefer to get around by walking because running day-to-day errands is occasionally difficult without a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome that no matter where their house is located in this area, primary schools and daycares are close by. On the other hand, it can be very difficult to get to high schools by foot.
