Part of the Greater Fredericton metropolitan area, Main Street is a neighbourhood within Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Transportation

Traveling as a pedestrian is rather practical for property owners in Main Street; many daily needs are convenient to carry out without a vehicle. The bike is a fairly good means of transportation in this neighbourhood. Public transit riders may experience few choices in Main Street by reason of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically very close by. However, the preferred method to get around in Main Street is often driving. Finding a place to park is generally easy.

Services

The nearest supermarket in this area is generally only a short walk away. In addition, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are also a few coffee shops in this part of Fredericton. A reasonable choice of clothing stores is also available within a rather short walking distance. Regarding education, primary schools and daycares are especially convenient to reach on foot from most homes for sale in Main Street. In contrast, there are only a limited number of high schools and consequently they can be a rather long walk away.

Character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Main Street is a fairly good option. Although this area is not known for its lively atmosphere, with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located around the corner.
