Transportation

The preferred method of transportation in Brookside is usually driving. Parking is easy. On the other hand, the transit service in Brookside is rather poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. Brookside is bicycling-friendly. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not especially conducive to people who like to travel as pedestrians because few daily needs can be met without the use of a car.

Services

Getting to the closest supermarket without a car is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in this area. There are also a few options for those who appreciate nearby restaurants. With respect to education, there are only a very small number of high schools in Brookside and consequently they can be a very long distance away. Additionally, Brookside does not contain any primary schools. Moreover, families may consider it difficult to get to daycares by foot.
