Normand Park is especially car friendly. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this part of Winnipeg. On the other hand, the public transit access in this part of Winnipeg is not very convenient. Nonetheless, property owners are served by Dafoe / U of M Station (Blue), Dafoe / U of M Station and Dafoe / Agriculture. The neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Normand Park is reasonably bicycling-friendly since riding a bike is made easier by the generally flat terrain. It is difficult for people walking to navigate this part of Winnipeg because meeting daily needs is at times difficult without the use of a vehicle.
