Transportation

This part of Winnipeg is very car friendly. Nearby highways are particularly easy to drive to from anywhere in this area, and it is very convenient to find a parking spot. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is easy to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Despite the fact that riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain, it is difficult to travel by bike in Assiniboia Downs as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Getting around on foot is also not very convenient for home buyers in this part of the city as carrying out daily needs is impractical without a vehicle.

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to reach without a vehicle from any location in this part of Winnipeg.
