Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in South Pointe West. The city block layout is fairly amenable to getting around by car, and it is very convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, public transit users may find very few choices in South Pointe West by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly relatively close by. This part of Winnipeg is not very suitable for those who like to get around as pedestrians as very few daily errands can be run without a vehicle. Despite the fact that there are not many elevation changes to challenge bike riders, bicycling is also difficult in this part of Winnipeg since the cycling network is not very well-developed.
