Part of the Greater Victoria metropolitan area, Carey is a neighbourhood within Saanich, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured way to navigate this neighbourhood. Most properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is convenient to park. However, the transit system in Carey is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are about 20 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Getting around on foot in Carey is not very popular, even though running daily errands is convenient without a vehicle. In contrast, active home buyers will welcome the rather cycling-friendly nature of this area. In particular, the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably good.

Services

It is easy to get to the closest supermarket as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in this part of Saanich. Additionally, there are a fair number of opportunities for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. The character of Carey is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. This neighbourhood is very quiet, as the streets tend to be very calm. Finally, there are over 50 green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, including Rithet's Bog Conservation Area and Quick's Bottom Park, and they are very well-situated, which makes it very easy to access them.

Housing
