Downtown New Westminster is a neighbourhood within New Westminster, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the mode of transportation, it is fairly straightforward to move around in Downtown. The transit system in this part of New Westminster is very accessible owing to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Line, and around 10 nearby bus lines. Property owners who want to live in a community that's walkable will also enjoy the very pedestrian-friendly character of this part of New Westminster; many daily errands can be run without a car, and plenty of businesses are close at hand. This area is fairly conducive to biking as Downtown boasts fairly good bicycling infrastructure.

A supermarket is ordinarily accessible within a very short trip from anywhere in Downtown. Tenth Street is among the best streets for food stores.
