The neighbourhood of Newcastle is part of the city of Nanaimo, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Bicycling is fairly prevalent in Newcastle because the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also reasonably suitable for people who get around by foot; many daily needs are easy to meet without a vehicle.
