The neighbourhood of West Maple Ridge can be found in the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good mode of transportation in West Maple Ridge. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and parking is generally easy. In contrast, West Maple Ridge is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there is the Maple Meadows Station Eastbound, Port Haney Station Westbound and Port Haney Station Eastbound on the West Coast Express. There are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Traveling by foot is not very popular in West Maple Ridge, although many daily errands can be run without needing a car. However, biking is easy in West Maple Ridge.

Services

A supermarket is typically reachable within a reasonably short trip from most properties for sale in West Maple Ridge. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and there are also a few coffee shops in this part of the city. As far as education is concerned, in this part of Maple Ridge, parents and their children will usually be able to reach schools and daycares without a vehicle.

Character

The character of West Maple Ridge is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This area is very quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, access to public green spaces in the neighbourhood, like Hammond Stadium Park and Derby Reach Regional Park, is easy since there are around 50 of them close by for residents to discover.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the majority of buildings in West Maple Ridge, whereas the rest are mainly duplexes.
