Situated within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Pemberton Heights is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

It is convenient for pedestrians to move around in Pemberton Heights; many day-to-day errands can be run without a car, and numerous businesses are reasonably close by. This part of District of North Vancouver will also appeal to active home buyers because it is suitable for bicycling. For example, the bicycling infrastructure is well-developed. Getting around by car is very convenient in this area. Most properties for sale are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in this part of the municipality as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by around 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.

Services

In this part of the municipality, parents and their children will almost always be able to reach primary schools and daycares without a car. However, there are only a very small number of high schools and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. Concerning eating, it is very often an option for home buyers in Pemberton Heights to shop for general and specialty groceries on foot. In addition, there is typically a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Pemberton Heights. This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however some parts can be quite loud, especially close to Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, public green spaces, including Mosquito Creek Park and Murdo Frazer Park, are very well-spread out and there are approximately 40 of them nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes them very easy to get to from most locations within Pemberton Heights.

Housing
