The neighbourhood of Tsawwassen can be found in the municipality of Delta, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good mode of transportation in Tsawwassen. It is very easy to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit access in Tsawwassen is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. Tsawwassen is reasonably suited for bicycling. Getting around on foot is not especially practical for residents in this area as few common errands can be run without a car.

Services

In this part of the municipality, parents and their children will generally be able to reach daycares and schools as pedestrians. With respect to food, it is frequently possible for house buyers in Tsawwassen to do groceries by walking. There are also a limited number of choices for those who value close by restaurants and cafes.

Character

Tsawwassen offers a calm environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This part of the municipality is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, most locations within the neighbourhood have good access to public green spaces, including Diefenbaker Park and Winskill Park, since getting to one is very easy from a large number of houses and there are approximately 30 parks nearby for residents to visit.

Housing

About three quarters of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while renters occupy the remainder. In this area, the majority of dwellings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings. Around half of properties in this part of the municipality were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s. This area also has a good choice of housing sizes; homes range from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
