Tilbury

The neighbourhood of Tilbury is part of the municipality of Delta, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured approach to navigate Tilbury is very often a car. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and many houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 17A Offramp. In contrast, the transit access in Tilbury is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. Tilbury is not very amenable to bicycling as cyclists encounter a considerable amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is rather limited. Nonetheless, some bike-friendly sectors exist. This area is also not very conducive to people who get around as pedestrians as running day-to-day errands is challenging without the use of a vehicle.
