The neighbourhood of Stride Hill can be found in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood provides home buyers with the choice between a diversity of modes of transportation. People who appreciate being in a walkable community will enjoy the pedestrian-friendly nature of Stride Hill; many day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a car. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this part of Burnaby since the bicycling network is rather extensive. The good transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle as a result of various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line, and around 10 nearby bus lines. The best means of transportation in this area is very often a car. It is convenient to come across a parking spot, and many homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway.

Services

It is convenient to get to the nearest supermarket by foot in Stride Hill. Additionally, there are a fair number of options within walking distance for those who care about restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, daycares and primary schools are very easy to access on foot from anywhere in this part of Burnaby. On the other hand, parents and their children may consider it challenging to reach high schools without the need to get in a car.

Character

Stride Hill offers a relaxed ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of the city is very quiet overall, as the streets are very peaceful. Finally, the majority of locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to public green spaces, including Byrne Creek Ravine Park and Marshland Avenue Bog Forest, since there are approximately 40 of them close by for residents to relax in.

Housing

In Stride Hill, roughly half of dwellings are large apartment buildings, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock.
