The transit infrastructure in Garden Village is moderately convenient thanks to various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line, and approximately 20 nearby bus lines. This part of Burnaby will also appeal to people who want to live in a compact community because it is moderately pedestrian-friendly; many daily errands can be run without needing to use a car, and a variety of businesses are close by. Garden Village is bike-friendly because Garden Village features fairly good bicycling infrastructure.
