Big Bend is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Big Bend offers house buyers the choice between different methods of transportation. This area features a reasonably good public transit network. In particular, house owners can rely on various rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. Big Bend is also moderately bike-friendly as the cycling network is fairly good. Traveling as a pedestrian in this part of the city is not very popular, despite the fact that meeting day-to-day needs is convenient without the use of a car. In contrast, cars are a great mode of transportation in Big Bend. Nearby highways are rather easy to drive to from anywhere in Big Bend, and it is especially convenient to park.

Services

Parents and their kids will find that wherever their property is located in this part of the city, primary schools and daycares are nearby. On the other hand, there are only a few high schools and accordingly they can be a rather long distance away. With regards to food, the nearest supermarket in Big Bend is generally only a reasonably short trip away. Character

The character of Big Bend is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This part of the city is very good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Lastly, public green spaces, such as Taylor Park and Riverway Sports Complex, are very well-situated and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to check out, making them very easy to get to.

Housing
