River Valley Whitemud

Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, River Valley Whitemud is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this neighbourhood. The majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, River Valley Whitemud is not especially transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners can count on South Campus / Fort Edmonton Station and McKernan/Belgravia Station with access to the Capital Line. The neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. This area will appeal to active people because it is very suitable for bicycling. More precisely, the bicycling infrastructure is rather comprehensive. Traveling by foot is not very convenient for residents in River Valley Whitemud because few daily errands can be run without needing a car.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are convenient to get to as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, high schools are not very plentiful and therefore not always within walking distance. In terms of food, a car is typically required in River Valley Whitemud to access the nearest supermarket. Character

This part of Edmonton experienced its largest construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available properties are from this time period.
