Transportation

The bicycle is a fairly good mode of transportation in this part of Edmonton as the bicycling network is moderately extensive, and cyclists do not encounter significant slopes. House buyers who value residing in a walkable community will also be pleased with the rather pedestrian-friendly nature of this area; running daily errands is convenient without a car. Driving is a fairly good means of transportation in Carlisle. It is easy to park. However, Carlisle is not especially transit friendly. Nevertheless, house owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are straightforward to get to without the use of a car from any location in this part of Edmonton. Carlisle experienced its main construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available homes are from this era.
