Transportation

Kingsland presents homeowners with several alternative means of transportation. The good public transit service makes transit a viable option for many. For example, it is easy to reach a nearby rapid transit station, including Heritage Station and Chinook Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, from the greater part of residences in the neighbourhood. Property owners have access to about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are generally around the corner. It is also easy for people travelling by foot to navigate this part of the city; running daily errands is convenient without the need to use a car, and plenty of businesses are moderately close at hand. It is easy to commute by bicycle in Kingsland.

Kingsland has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Main streets, such as Heritage Drive South-west, are wonderful for those who enjoy going out. Kingsland is quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. In Kingsland, about one third of buildings are small apartment buildings, and the rest of the houses are mainly large apartment buildings and single detached homes.
