Located within the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Abbeydale is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

No matter the means of transportation, it is rather straightforward to get around in Abbeydale. The public transit system in this neighbourhood is convenient as a consequence of about 10 nearby bus lines. Abbeydale is also bike-friendly because it is a flat ride to most locations, and Abbeydale features fairly good cycling infrastructure. Walking in this part of Calgary is not very common, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient without a vehicle. In contrast, Abbeydale is very car friendly. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to park.

Services

In all but a limited number of cases, a vehicle is needed to purchase groceries. Nevertheless, getting to the closest pharmacy and consequently some basic food items is usually convenient.
