Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, Windermere is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

The preferred transportation option in Windermere is very often a car. Parking is quite easy, and many properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. This part of Edmonton is bike-friendly because there are a limited number of hills, and this area has good bicycling infrastructure. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in Windermere as running day-to-day errands is inconvenient without a vehicle.

Services
