Transportation

Biking is easy in Kildare as the bicycling network is moderately comprehensive. Kildare is also a fairly pleasant part of Edmonton for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing a car. The transit system in Kildare is somewhat poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by. However, cars are a very good mode of transportation in Kildare. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in Kildare, and it is easy to come across a place to park.

The nearest supermarket in this area is typically only a short walk away. Additionally, Kildare is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. It is also easy to reach a selection of clothing stores as a pedestrian. Character

Kildare is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this part of the city. Even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this part of Edmonton with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located a short walk away. Most areas in Kildare are reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Green spaces, such as Londonderry Athletic Grounds and Glengarry Park, are especially well-situated and there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to enjoy, resulting in them being easy to access from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood.
