Biking is easy in Kildare as the bicycling network is moderately comprehensive. Kildare is also a fairly pleasant part of Edmonton for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing a car. The transit system in Kildare is somewhat poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by. However, cars are a very good mode of transportation in Kildare. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in Kildare, and it is easy to come across a place to park.

Kildare is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this part of the city.
