Transportation

This neighbourhood permits property owners to travel by several alternative means of transportation. Thanks to about 10 nearby bus lines, the fairly good public transit makes transit a viable option for many. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not especially well-suited for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians as meeting day-to-day needs is occasionally difficult without a car. Commuting by bicycle is convenient in Seton because there are not many hills to confront cyclists, and the cycling network is reasonably extensive. Seton is also an extremely convenient part of Calgary for driving. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of Calgary, and parking is generally easy.

Services

Parents and their children will value that no matter where their property is situated in this area, daycares and schools are close by. In terms of food, it is usually possible for house buyers in this neighbourhood to buy groceries by walking. In addition, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.

Character

Seton has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Most areas in Seton are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. However, green spaces are especially well-distributed and there are about 30 of them close by for residents to enjoy, making them easy to get to. Finally, although the ambience is not the most lively in this area with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located very close by.
