Belmont is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Belmont is especially car friendly. Parking is easy, and the street network is amenable to cars. In contrast, the transit access in this neighbourhood is not very convenient. Thankfully, homeowners have access to approximately 10 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. This part of the city is not especially amenable to biking. Thankfully, there are a limited number of elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is fairly extensive. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for those who like to get around on foot as few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car.
