Character

Cité Universitaire is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this area. Although the ambience is not the liveliest in this part of the city, the vibe is still quite lively around its main streets, and finding one of the a few bars is easy since they are generally located a short walk away. Cité Universitaire is fairly good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic, although that is not the case closer to the railway line, Autoroute Charest or Autoroute Robert-Bourassa. Access to public green spaces, including Parc Saint-Yves and Jardin botanique Roger-Van den Hende, is easy from most locations within the neighbourhood since there are around 40 of them nearby for residents to check out.
