Transportation

Thorndale is fairly convenient for those who prefer to get around as pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without a car. This part of Montréal is also reasonably appropriate for biking. The preferred method of transportation in Thorndale is often a car. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways are moderately easy to drive to from any location in this area. In contrast, public transit users may have few options in this part of Montréal due to the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses.

A grocery store is generally accessible within a rather short stroll from anywhere in Thorndale.
