Père-Marquette is a neighbourhood within Montréal, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Père-Marquette is a great part of Montréal with respect to travelling without a car. This area is home to a very good transit system due to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the Ligne 2 - Orange and Ligne 5 - Bleue, and about 20 nearby bus lines. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also very well-suited for those who like to travel on foot; all daily errands can be run without needing a car, and numerous businesses are moderately close at hand. This area will attract physically active people because it is very suitable for bicycling. More precisely, the cycling network is very good, and there are few elevation changes to challenge bicycle riders.

Services

Families will appreciate that wherever their property is located in Père-Marquette, schools and daycares are close by. In terms of food, house buyers in this neighbourhood will be pleased to learn that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away. Père-Marquette is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this neighbourhood. The noise levels in Père-Marquette are reasonably low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, however noise can be problematic near the railway line. The greenery in this part of the city is quite prominent; it is very easy to get to green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood since there are over 50 of them close by for residents to check out. Residents will also find that the tree canopy coverage for a large number of streets is fairly good. Lastly, finding things to do in this part of the city is very easy. The streets are almost always busy with people, there is an extensive selection of entertainment venues, and with its about 30 bars, there are options for nighttime activities.
