Transportation

The favoured mode of transportation in Pinel Creek is very often driving. Many properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit access in this part of Montréal is not particularly practical. Thankfully, train stations, including the Gare Rivière-des-Prairies on the 15 - Mascouche, are not particularly far-removed from the greater part of properties in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. Pinel Creek is conducive to cycling. On the other hand, most houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very suitable for pedestrians as common amenities such as post offices or hardware stores can be an extended walk away.

Daycares and high schools are easy to reach on foot from any location in Pinel Creek. In contrast, this part of Montréal does not have any primary schools. Lastly, there is a good amount of greenery in this part of Montréal; accessing public green spaces in the neighbourhood, like Parc des Cageux, is very easy since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to check out. In addition, residents will find that numerous tree-lined streets are around.
